Valuing diversity

The South East Consortium is committed to treating all persons fairly, openly and with respect. We recognise that discrimination can occur in many forms and we are committed to its elimination, adopting policies of positive action where this is permitted.

Probation values
Probation staff are committed to the following core values:
Treating people fairly, openly and with respect.
An uncompromising stance against harm caused by crime.
A strong belief in the capacity of people to change.
The importance of taking personal responsibility for behaviour.
The necessity of learning from experience.

For each intake of Probation Officers/Offender Managers we will deliver the Diploma in Probation Studies in partnership with Portsmouth University and the five Probation Areas.
